ONOSI Temperature control Heat pipe solar collector combines the patented five-dimensional heat transfer technology, using self-developed working fluid and innovative technology to break through the development of a new type of temperature-controlled solar heat pipe collector with super copper water heat pipe performance, It provides a revolutionary solution for the large-scale promotion of metal heat pipe-vacuum tube solar collectors.

High performance

The ONOSI temperature-controlled solar heat pipe adopts a different heat transfer mode from the traditional copper-water heat pipe,The heat transfer capacity of a single heat pipe is not limited, which can meet the large heat transfer requirements of CPC solar collectors.

Long life

The internal pressure of ONOSI temperature-controlled solar heat pipe is positive pressure (that is, higher than atmospheric pressure), there is no life problem caused by reduced vacuum, the effective life of the product is greater than 15 years.

Intelligent temperature control

The traditional gravity solar heat pipe does not have a temperature control mechanism and cannot solve the overheating problem of the system at the engineering application level.
Therefore, in actual engineering applications, when the heat is excessive, the pressure can only be relieved through the pressure relief valve, or the heat collection area is artificially reduced by covering.

The ONOSI temperature control solar heat pipe has an intelligent temperature control function. The maximum temperature of hot water in the solar system water tank can be controlled at 80 ℃.

No installation angle limit

The ONOSI temperature control heat pipe solar collector has no restrictions on the installation angle. The heat pipe angle is between 0 ° -180 ° and can be conducted without barriers. The solar collector can be installed in various ways such as vertical and horizontal, can replace U-type tube solar collector and horizontal heat pipe solar collector.

What is heat pipe solar collector?

The heat pipe solar collector always connected with existing water heating device. The selective absorber coating on the inner cover of vacuum tubes absorb solar energy, then convert solar energy into thermal energy and transfer thermal energy to heat pipe by aluminum fin. The heated liquid inside heat pipe change into vapor which rises to the top condenser, then thermal energy heat transfer liquid pass through heat exchanger and the cooled vapor becomes liquid, returning to the base of heat pipe.
The thermal energy conducts to transfer liquid via a copper pipe. This transference of heat into the liquid creates a continuous circulation as long as the collector is heated by the sun.

Introduction to Evacuated tube solar collector

Evacuated tube solar collector works similar in design to a thermos. It consists of a two layers of glass with a vacuum in between the layers. The outer layer of the solar tube is Borosilicate glass which is very low in iron and allows 98% of light energy to pass through. The 2nd inner layer has very special coatings applied to it.

The Evacuated tube solar collector consists of a number of rows of parallel transparent glass tubes connected to a header pipe and where the heat transfer fluid (usually 50% Propylene Glycol) circulates and absorb heat generated by tubes. These glass tubes are cylindrical in shape. Therefore, the angle of the sunlight is always perpendicular to the heat absorbing tubes which enables these collectors to perform well even when sunlight is low such as when it is early in the morning or late in the afternoon, or when shaded by clouds. Evacuated tube solar collector are particularly useful in areas with cold, cloudy wintry weathers (most of the northern part of the Europe).

Evacuated Tube Solar Hot Water System

Evacuated tube systems are more efficient than flat-plate systems, particularly in the cooler months and on cloudy days. This is due partly to the vacuum insulation (which minimises heat loss) and partly to the fact that the curved surface of the tubes allows the sun’s rays to strike perpendicular to the water for a greater part of the day. Evacuated tube systems weigh much less than flat-plate systems but cost significantly more. Individual tubes can be replaced in the event of damage, making long term maintenance potentially less costly.. Properly maintained solar thermal collectors should outlast the life of the storage tank. When the tank needs replacing, the existing collectors can be connected to the new tank.
